Pakistan again violates ceasefire, one Indian soldier martyred, three injured

Srinagar: The Pakistani Army has been continuously shelling heavy residential areas in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan has fired in the Kearni sector of Poonch from late Saturday to Sunday morning. Indian Army personnel have also given a befitting reply to this firing. One Indian Army soldier was killed in the shelling in the Indian territory, while three other soldiers were injured.

Pakistani army personnel have opened heavy fire since late Saturday night in the Kearni sector along the Line of Control (LOC). After this shelling of Pakistan, the Indian Army is continuously retaliating. According to the information given by the sources, residential areas are being fired through mortars in all parts of the LOC.

A young Indian Army soldier has been killed in the firing on the Line of Control. Apart from this, three other jawans have also been injured. In view of tense conditions on the Line of Control, the army has shifted all the people of the border villages to safe places. Apart from this, the soldiers have been asked to be vigilant in the event of any untoward situations or intrusion on the LOC.
