Lahore: A major plane crash in neighboring Pakistan. The Pakistan International Airlines flight from Lahore to Karachi has fallen victim to the accident near Karachi Airport. (PIA) plane crashed before landing near Karachi airport. PIA spokesperson Abdul Sattar confirmed the crash.

It is being told that a total of 107 people were present in the A-320 aircraft. These included 99 passengers and eight crew members. Flight flew from Lahore to Karachi. According to the information received, this plane has crashed in the residential area. Smoke is seen rising at the accident site. Also, a huge crowd has gathered on the spot after the accident. Rescue officials are sending the injured people to Astpal.

Emergency has been declared in all the major hospitals of Karachi due to the plane crash. Pakistan Army's media wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has tweeted that Pakistan Army helicopters are reaching the spot for rescue and relief. The Army's Quit Action Team and Pakistani soldiers along with civilians have reached the spot for relief and rescue efforts.
