Kulbhushan case: Imran's tweet on court verdict, says ICJ's decision is commendable

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday appreciated the International Court of Justice’s (ICJ) decision in Kulbhsuhan Jadhav case. In his first tweet, Imran Khan said that the ICJ appreciates the decision of the ICJ of not releasing Kulbhsuhan Jadhav.

Pak PM Imran Khan has further stated that Kulbhushan is guilty of crimes committed against the people of Pakistan. Pakistan will take action in accordance with law in the matter. India has achieved great success in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case. On the basis of a 15-1 majority, the judges have agreed to all the arguments of the Indian side and asked Pakistan to reconsider the matter.

The court, while hearing arguments from both sides, said that the death sentence of Kulbhushan Jadhav should be stayed. Counsellor facility should be provided to him. According to sources, the decision has been fully termed by the High Office of the Government of India as a victory for India. The International Court of Justice, while hearing on Wednesday, has stayed the execution of Kulbhushan Jadhav, who has since been convicted.
