Pakistan: Bahrain's King Hamad confers kingdom's highest civil award on PM Imran

At the present time, Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan was awarded Bahrain's highest civilian award, an honor which was also given to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi earlier this year. Imran Khan is visiting Bahrain for the first time since taking over at the invitation of King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa to attend the National Day celebrations of the Gulf countries, as reported by Pakistani media institution Dawn News.

For your information, Let us tell you that when Khan came to Bahrain, he was honored with this award by Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and also given the Guard of Honor. Khan was awarded the King Hamad Order of Renaissance, Bahrain's highest civilian honor.

According to the Pakistan Foreign Office on this matter, Khan had a meeting with the Crown Prince, during which he discussed bilateral issues and regional situation. He also signed several MoUs in the fields of higher education, scientific research, sports and medicine.
