Islamabad: The recent defense agreement between India and the US (US) has increased Pakistan's resentment. Expressing concern over the contract between the two countries, it said that this would increase the arms race in the region. Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ayesha Farooqui expressed concern in this regard in her weekly press briefing.

He said that Pakistan has objected to the defense contract of billions of dollars between the two countries during the visit of US President Donald Trump recently. Pakistan has several times expressed its concern to the international community about the arms race in the region. Farooqui also directly raised the issue of violence in Delhi, intervening directly in the internal affairs of India. He said that Pakistan and the global community are worried about the kind of violence that has taken place against a particular community. The United Nations and institutions related to religious freedom have expressed their concerns in clear terms.

He has alleged that 'India is violating ceasefire continuously along the Line of Control without any provocation. A protest has been lodged in this regard by summoning an Indian diplomat on Wednesday.
