Shahbaz govt issues alert as Pakistan fears 'terror attack'

Islamabad: Pakistan, which nurtures terrorism, is beginning to fear a terrorist attack on its own soil. Pakistan's Shehbaz Sharif government seems to be very nervous about this. An alert has also been issued by the Shahbaz government about the terrorist attack. It has been feared by the Pakistani government that the terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) can attack the country. The Pakistan government has said that peace talks between it and the terrorist organization have stopped and due to this, the TTP can provoke an attack.

Pakistan's Shahbaz Sharif government says that recently Pakistan government officials met the top leadership of the terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan in Afghanistan. The aim was to revive the stalled peace talks between the two sides. This was done after the deaths of TTP commanders Umar Khalid Khurasani and Aftab Parke. In a letter issued by the Pakistan government, an alert has been issued about the security arrangements in four provinces of the country. It has been said that security arrangements should be strengthened in these provinces and precautions should be taken.

Along with this, instructions have been given to the security forces that wherever terrorist activity is seen, there should be immediate retaliation by conducting an operation against the terrorists. In a letter issued by the ministry last month, it was warned that the talks with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, which have been going on for more than a year, have not yielded any result, Dawn newspaper reported. This led to an atmosphere of commotion in the top leadership of the TTP.
