Srinagar: Pakistan is not deterring its nefarious antics on the border. On Sunday, Pakistan again violated the ceasefire in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir. However, the Indian Army also gave a befitting reply to this firing. Earlier, Pakistan had violated the ceasefire on the border on Thursday.

At 11.30 pm on Thursday, mortars were fired from Pakistan in Mendhar sector of Poonch district. The firing was also done with small arms during this period. On Wednesday too, Pakistan fired mortar in Rajouri district without any provocation, which was promptly responded to by India. Officials said that the ceasefire was breached by Pakistan at around 3.45 pm in Sundarbani sector of Rajouri district.
