Bollywood got miserable on late Saturday evening as it lost a legendary actress in Sridevi. The 54-year-old Veteran actress, one of the most iconic actresses to have ever graced the Bollywood, passed away in Dubai where she had gone to attend the wedding of her nephew Mohit Marwah. The actress, whose career spanned over four decades, breathed her last on Saturday night at around 11 pm following a fatal cardiac arrest. She was rushed to the nearby Rashid Hospital but was pronounced dead on admission.

Her death came as a huge shock for her fans and the entire Bollywood fraternity considering she did not have any heart-related problem in the past. As condolences and tributes continue to pour in for the late female icon of Bollywood, some of the biggest names from the Pakistan cricket fraternity also expressed their sadness over the tragic loss. Shoaib Akhtar and Waqar Younis were the first few cricketers to pay tributes.

Having made her film debut at the age of four, Sridevi went on to do many popular movies like "Mawaali" (1983), "Tohfa" (1984), "Mr India" (1987) and "Chandni" (1989) which kept her at the top in the box-office game. Her outings like "Sadma" (1983), "ChaalBaaz" (1989), "Lamhe" (1991), and "Gumrah" (1993) earned her critical acclaim.
