Srinagar: Indian Army foiled two infiltration attempts along the LoC in the Nowshera sector of Rajouri district of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in the last 48 hours, in which a Pakistani terrorist was caught alive, while two were killed in the blast. Jawans posted in the Jhangar sector of Nowshera witnessed the movement of 2-3 terrorists along the LoC in the early hours of 21 August. 

One of the terrorists came near the Indian post and tried to cut the fence, when the soldiers fired at him, he tried to escape. However, one terrorist was injured due to bullet injuries and was arrested. The two terrorists who came with this escaped under the cover of the forest. At the same time, the injured terrorist was admitted to the hospital by the soldiers. The arrested terrorist has been identified as Tabarak Hussain, a resident of Sabjakot village in district Kotli of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). According to the report, the terrorist came to India with a plan to attack the Indian Army post. 

Terrorist Tabarak Hussain has confessed that he was sent to India by an officer named Yunus Chaudhary of Pakistan Army by paying 20-25 thousand rupees. The terrorist revealed that he, along with other terrorists, had raided 2-3 Indian Army posts so that they could be targeted. A Pakistan Army officer ordered an attack on the Indian post on August 21, 2022.
