After the election stir, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala got a big relief. The Punjab and Haryana High Court has quashed the petition filed against making him deputy CM. A petition was filed in the High Court against Dushyant calling it unconstitutional.
According to the media report, Jan Nayak Janata Party convenor Dushyant Chautala took the oath of office as Chief Minister along with Chief Minister Manohar Lal on October 27. After this, a challenge was challenged in the High Court against his appointment on 29 October. This PIL was filed by High Court lawyer Jagmohan Bhatti.
For your information, let us tell you that appointing Dushyant Chautala as Deputy Chief Minister in Haryana is against the Constitution and the law. The swearing in of Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala by Governor Satyadev Nararan is a violation of Article 164 of the Constitution. There is no provision for the post of Deputy Chief Minister anywhere in the Indian Constitution. In such a situation, swearing in the office of Deputy Chief Minister is wrong.
