Varanasi: BJP led NDA achieved a landslide victory in the recently concluded Lok Sabha election 2019. After the victory, Narendra Modi will take the oath of office for a second term as Prime Minister at 7 pm on Thursday. Hindustani classical singer Pandit Chhannulal Mishra sang a melodious song ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of the PM.

The classical singer sang Badhaiya to extend his warm wishes to Modi. Mishra is a noted exponent of the Kirana gharana of the Hindustani classical music. He is known especially for the Khayal and Thumri genres of music.

According to the News Agency ANI, "Hindustani classical singer Pandit Chhannulal Mishra sings a 'Badhaiya' for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

The leaders of BIMSTEC countries are invited to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, President of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid, Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena, President of Myanmar U Win Myint and Bhutanese Prime Minister Lotay Tshering will be part of the historic moment, including Thailand's special envoy Grisada Boonrach. Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth and Bhutan Prime Minister Lotay Tshering, among the first of the many foreign dignitaries, arrived in Delhi to attend the oath taking ceremony.

The ministers who will take oath today evening with Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet the PM.
