In the toolkit case, after getting bail for climate activist Disha Ravi, her parents also gave a statement. They said that this order has strengthened their confidence in the judicial system. Disha was arrested in Toolkit case earlier this month has been released from Tihar Jail on Tuesday night.
Disha's father Ravi Annappa said, "Justice has been done. My daughter did nothing wrong. We have faith in our country's judiciary." He further said, "We are not associated with anyone. We are only asking this basic question about the climate. I am an Indian, we should respect the rules and regulations of the country." Disha's mother Manjula said that her trust in the judiciary has been restored. She further said that her daughter had done nothing wrong. Disha's mother said, "I am happy that she got bail. It has strengthened our faith in the system."
Manjula also said that Disha was repeatedly saying that he should remain strong while thanking whoever stands with her daughter at the crucial moment. It is also said that the 22-year-old climate activist was arrested by a cyber cell team of Delhi Police from Bengaluru on 13 February and later brought to Delhi. The cyber cell had earlier registered an FIR against the "pro-Khalistan" creators of the "toolkit" for waging a social, cultural and economic war against the Indian government.
