Today,  July 26, Google marked the beginning of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics with a special animated Doodle. For the first time in history, the opening ceremony will take place not in a stadium but on the Seine River, where thousands of athletes will float in a grand parade. The Google Doodle creatively captures this unique scene with animated characters drifting along the river.

The day's festivities include a speech by the host nation's leader, followed by a parade of athletes from over 200 countries. The highlight of the ceremony will be the lighting of the Olympic cauldron.
