New Delhi: The session of Parliament is going to start on 14 September amid Corona pandemic. Due to this, preparations for the Parliament session have picked up the pace. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has given instructions that during the session security arrangements should be made. He has also held a meeting to review the preparations for the session.

In a meeting with CPWD and NDMC officials, he has also given many important suggestions for prevention of coronavirus. Lok Sabha General Secretary Snehlata Shrivastava and Rajya Sabha General Secretary Deshdeep Verma were also present during this period. This time due to corona infection, the monsoon session is starting about 40 days late. The monsoon session of Parliament will continue from September 14 to October 1, with 18 seats. This time the Parliament proceedings will not stop on Saturday and Sunday also.

The proceedings of the Upper House will begin in the morning, in which the Chairman's Gallery, the Visitor's Gallery will also be used. The proceedings of the Lok Sabha will be done in the evening. 11 ordinances are required to be passed during the upcoming session. This includes large bills like the Pandemic Diseases (Amendment) Ordinance, Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Ordinance. This time the government has spoken to all the opposition parties and said that the Question Hour and Zero Hour are not included in the proceedings of Parliament this time. Along with this, the entry of journalists will be decided by lottery system.
