New Delhi: The Monsoon Session of Parliament will commence today, July 18, with the election for the 15th President of India. During the session, the government is expected to announce 24 Bills including the Press Registration Periodicals Bill, 2022.
The Agnipath plan, rising prices, and unchecked inflation are among the 16 topics that the Opposition has selected for discussion during the monsoon session.
The two candidates competing for election to the Office of the President are Droupadi Murmu of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and Yashwant Sinha of the combined opposition. Today's session will start at 11 a.m.
