We all know that elections are going to be held in Telangana soon. Elections are due after two days and all preparations are going on in the final place. Nalgonda is unclear with political activities despite the threat of Covid after the Election Commission announced the election schedule of Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal graduates MLC constituency.
It should be noted that the new graduate voters for the MLC constituency started enrolling on October 1 and all political parties have focused on enrolling all their graduate members in the electoral rolls. At the same time, Nalgonda, Khammam and Warangal districts, which have 60 lakh voters, are considered to be the strongest fort of the ruling TRS, which has taken a special drive to enroll each graduate. While the major political parties - the TRS and Congress have not yet announced their candidates, some of the dissident parties have already opened their election offices in these districts.
But finally here, Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS) president prof. M. Kodandaram is planning to contest and has given a verbal message to his party cadre in these districts. The BJP is also looking for a suitable candidate to contest the MLC elections for graduates. Bjp leader Kankanala Niveda, who contested from Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency in the Assembly elections, is also in the fray for the party ticket. Dr Cheruku Sudhakar, founder president of Telangana House Party, and Lingidi Venkateswara, president of Aam Aadmi Party, have already announced their candidacy for the MLC elections.
