Ranchi: A passenger has lost his life in an accident at a railway station in Jharkhand's capital Ranchi on Saturday. However, the passenger died in suspicious circumstances. GRP said he was getting off the Rajdhani Express when he fell unconscious and lost his life. The man who died at Ranchi railway station has been identified as Umesh Kerketta from Simdega. As soon as the incident was reported, GRP arrived and sent the body for postmortem. With this, the family members of the deceased have been informed about the incident.
According to reports, the GRP said that the deceased had travelled in the e-one coach of Rajdhani Express and reached Ranchi station. He fell unconscious while leaving the platform. Immediately a railway doctor was called who declared him brought dead after examination.
After which the incident was reported to the kin of the deceased. The body has been handed over to the family after postmortem. At present, no information has been revealed so far about the circumstances in which Umesh fainted, how he died. The family members of the deceased are in a bad state after the incident.
