Earlier on Friday two passengers train collided at the Haft -khan station in the city of Shahroud in the Iran's north- central province of Semnan killing 43 people and leaving hundreds of them injured.

Soon after collision four wagons caught fire which in turn changed to a fatal accident, earlier death count was 8 but then later more dead bodies were recovered. 

The President Hassan Rouhani released a statement empathizing with the families of the sufferers and has commanded a detailed investigation of the accident under Vice- President's Eshagh Janahgiri's supervision. On average 17,000 traffic accidents are reported in Iraq every single year reason being not following traffic rules by the drivers, malfunctioned automobiles and poor emergency services.
