Patna: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) campaigner and regional organization minister of Hindu Jagran Manch Bihar-Jharkhand Dr. Suman Kumar was once a pastor, who used to propagate Christianity. Suman Kumar's name was earlier pastor Robert Salomon. They used to convert people to Christianity. However, when he met the ideology of the Sangh and the officers of the Sangh, he was so impressed that he changed his religion and changed his name to Dr. Suman Kumar, and became an RSS campaigner.
He became a pastor while studying organic chemistry at Oxford University. Since 1982, due to the work of conversion, their movement started in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India's southern state. According to the report, Christian missionaries sent him to India at the age of 25 i.e. in the year 1984 to understand the activities of RSS closely. He was so impressed by the work of RSS and Hindu thought and philosophy here in two years that he himself decided to adopt Hinduism. After conversion in 1986, he accepted Hindu Sanatan Dharma through the Arya Samaj system and started promoting RSS the same year. During this, he was also entrusted with the task of Hindu Jagran Manch.
It is said that the Sangh while doing a new experiment, believed in them because they were Christians and they too were completely immersed in the ideology of RSS. To overcome the problem of language, Suman Kumar was greatly helped by the current All India Intellectual Head Swant Ranjan. Today he is performing the responsibility of organization minister of North East region (Jharkhand-Bihar) of Hindu Jagran Manch and is trained in the third year of RSS.
