Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are back with the first song of the much-awaited film Pathaan. The song was released by the film’s team on Monday ever since the song is trending. Besharam is a dance number romancing each other in exotic locales in Europe. However they are facing huge criticism because of the color of Deepika’s Dress. The poster of Deepika Padukone burned in Madhya Pradesh as both the ruling and the opposition have objected to the saffron costume worn by the actor in the film.

Deepika’s film has been facing some issues in certain territories of India specially in Indore. The Right-Wing group has demanded a ban on the release of the film as well as taken an objection to the recently released song ‘Besharam Rang’ . They claimed that Deepika Padukone has offended the sentiments of the Hindu community. And therefore, they have been demanding the ban on the release of Pathaan, which is expected to be releasing in January next year. The protestor also burned the poster of Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan for hurting religious sentiments.

MP’s Minister Narrotam Mishra said, “I feel the title of the song 'Besharam Rang' is also objectionable in its sense. The song is made with a contaminated mentality, the actor and the actress are clad in green and saffron clothes in an objectionable manner.” The Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Govind Singh has also expressed his anger on the costumes in the song. "The scenes of the song and costumes are highly objectionable. Such things are not acceptable in Indian culture."

Pathaan, marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen in over four years. The action thriller also stars John Abraham and is directed by Siddharth Aanand. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on January 25, 2023. It will be released in Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions apart from Hindi. Shah Rukh Khan also has Jawaan and Dunki in the pipeline.
