The premier national boxing coaching camp will begin on Saturday, December 11 in Rohtak and Patiala, with 49 women and 52 men boxers resuming training. The camp, which runs until December 24, will feature top performers from the recent Elite National Championships as well as other top fighters from around the country. In the women's segment, there will be boxers in 12 weight categories, and in the men's section, there will be boxers in 13 weight categories.

The women's camp will feature Lovlina Borgohain, a bronze medalist at the 2020 Olympic Games, as well as fellow Tokyo Olympic Games athletes Simranjit Kaur and Pooja Rani. Among the other pugilists attending the training are World Championship medalists Manju Rani and Jamuna Boro, as well as reigning national champions Nitu and Sonia Lather.

Bhaskar Bhatt, who was formerly part of the youth establishment, will be in charge of the women's camp. The camp, which will be held for the first time at the National Boxing Academy, will include 12 coaches and 13 members of the support staff in addition to the players.

At NIS, Patiala, current World Championships medalist Akash Kumar, five-time Asian Championships medalist Shiva Thapa, and other boxers will join 13 coaches and 14 support staff for the men's national camp.
