According to recent information, tremors have been felt in several districts of Bihar. Tremors have been felt in several districts of north Bihar including Patna, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi recently. The magnitude of the earthquake is reported 4.9 on the Richter scale.

According to reports, the main centre of the earthquake is being described as Nepal, though earthquakes were felt for a very short time. It is also reported that the tremors were felt in Nepal's capital Kathmandu Valley earlier this morning. On the Richter scale, the speed is reported to be 6.0. The tremors were so strong that the impact was felt in some parts of Bihar adjoining Nepal.

The people of Bihar are now bewildered at this time. Earlier in the year 2015, Nepal had a devastating earthquake. The centre of the earthquake was in Pokhara near the capital Kathmandu and about 9000 people lost their lives in the 7.9 magnitude earthquake. Now, talking about Bihar, lightning has also fallen in several districts last Tuesday and more than 15 people have embraced death.
