Patna: The Patna High Court is hearing every day over the shortage of oxygen amid the corona epidemic in Bihar. The court on Thursday once again expressed displeasure over the measures taken by the state government to deal with corona and government claims. The Patna High Court has said it could not trust the government's claims.

However, the state government has claimed in court that an uninterrupted supply of oxygen will start in a week. The Patna High Court is constantly monitoring the work being done to deal with the corona outbreak in Bihar. The government on Thursday assured that an uninterrupted supply of liquid oxygen from the central quota would start in a week.

The Bihar government said that 5 cryogenic tankers have been arranged for this purpose. The Patna High Court also informed that oxygen production plants under pressure switch application systems are also going to be commissioned soon in 9 medical college hospitals of state interest including IGIMS. The court has directed the health department to indicate by Friday how much oxygen will be supplied per day from the central quota in a week to covid hospitals in the state.
