Srinagar: The Modi government has approved the new rules regarding the purchase of land in Jammu and Kashmir. Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) activists protested this decision of the central government. After which the police have taken into custody many activists including former Jammu and Kashmir CM and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti.

In fact, PDP activists had called a Protest rally on Thursday in protest against the new land law from the party headquarters in Srinagar. As soon as the party leaders and workers reached the headquarters for the event, they were taken into custody by the police. That is, the Jammu and Kashmir Police completely thwarted the protests by PDP workers. Till now dozens of activists and leaders have been detained.

Let us tell you that former CM Mehbooba Mufti has raised questions about the decision of the Central Government. She wrote on his official Twitter handle that, "The PDP's office in Srinagar has been sealed by the Jammu and Kashmir administration." The activists have been arrested while they were protesting in a peaceful manner. Do you think this is the 'normal' situation that you are showing to the whole world. '
