Ingredients:

1 cup grated carrots, ¼ cup peanuts, 1 onion, 3 dry red chillies, half teaspoon grated ginger, half teaspoon tamarind pulp, 2 teaspoons oil, urad dal, salt according to taste For serving- oil slightly, mustard seeds, 8 to 10 curry leaves

Method-

Heat one spoon of oil in the pan and remove the red chillies after frying some seconds. Now put carrots in the same pan and low the flame and keep the carrots out of the pan. Now, Heat one spoon of oil in the same pan and fry the onion finely and till it turns golden.

Off the gas and allow the onion to cool completely. Heat the pan on medium flame and fry the peanuts . Let the peanuts also be completely cold. Remove the peanut peel.

Add peanuts, red chili, carrot, onion, salt, tamarind and ginger in the grinder and make paste. If necessary, add a little water too. Now remove this paste in a vessel.

Before serving, heat oil in a pan and pour mustard and urad dal in it. When the color of urad becomes brown, add the asafetida and curry leaves in the pan and turn off the gas. Serve this mixer with the top of the dip and add it with any snack.
