After his visit to hospitals he instructed hospital  staff and instructed them to oversee the functioning of Covid outpatient services that were launched in government healthcare facilities in the State.

Along with special instructions he also to provide treatment to all the people with Covid-19 symptoms by giving them medical kits without waiting for test reports. He said that “The medication will save people from breathlessness and occupancy of hospital beds will also reduce,” . The Chief Secretary also went around the health centre and interacted with doctors, who said while the regular services were being provided in the centre, Covid-19 OP services were being provided in a nearby community hall.

However, here it is to be noted that the Chief Secretary, who also reviewed the ongoing fever survey in the city, enquired about the medicines, health advice and the overall treatment given to people with fever symptoms.
