The Maharashtra government is in the news for another controversy amidst the Corona crisis. In fact, the controversy is about the Antilia and Mansukh murder cases. At present, officers have started being transferred to Mumbai and Thane police circles. Let me tell you that this time the encounter specialist and inspector Daya Nayak, who is currently posted in the Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS), has been transferred. According to reports, he has been sent to Gondia district. 

You must know that the role of Daya Nayak was very important in the Hiren murder case. However, it is now being investigated by the NIA. In that case, if you remember, the ats was first entrusted with the responsibility of investigating it. In fact, the ATS had collected evidence against several persons including the accused Assistant Inspector Sachin Waje. Daya Nayak was accused of tampering with these evidences. In that case, you all must know that after the Antilia and Mansukh murder cases, many officers posted in important departments like Mumbai Crime Branch and ATS are being transferred to the districts of the state.

Daya Nayak, a 1995 batch officer, has also been transferred. In fact, he has been sent as an inspector in Gondia district of Maharashtra. On the other hand, Rajkumar Kothamire, in-charge of the Anti-Extortion Cell of Thane Crime Branch, has been transferred to Gadchiroli. At the same time, Police Inspector Nitin Thackeray, who was in charge of Unit 1 of Thane Crime Branch for more than four years, has been transferred to Nandurbar.
