In fact, advocate Raj Gaurav has filed a petition against Bhushan Kumar and Om Raut. A hearing on this will be held tomorrow i.e. on Monday in front of Senior Civil Judge Abhishek Kumar of Tis Hazari Court. According to the allegations, the portrayal of the characters in the film has hurt the religious sentiments of the applicant and everyone. In such a situation, the petition states that ''Lord Ram is shown in anger on a killing. The teaser uploaded on the producer's YouTube page also shows Lord Hanuman and Lord Ram wearing leather items. Simultaneously, it has also been said in the argument that the characters of Ramayana are depicted in a good manner in Raja Ravi Varma's painting and serial 'Ramayana', while the Respondent has shown Lord Rama as "tyrant, vengeful and angry". Which is against the description of Hanuman Chalisa.''

With that said, apart from the character of Lord Ram, it also raised doubts about the character of Ravana (Saif Ali Khan) and said that the film characterizes 'very cheap and frightening' who was a staunch Brahmin. It also alleged that the Vanar Sena is also depicted as a "herd of chimpanzees".

Let us tell you that in the petition filed, it has been said that, "The teaser or promo of the film is so cruel and sinful that in the interest of religious sentiments along with this upcoming film to be released on 12th January 2023, it should not be released in its present form. The form should be completely banned keeping in mind the sentiments and aspirations of Hindus in India and elsewhere.'' In this petition, there has also been a demand to remove the promotion video of 'Adipurush' from all social media platforms.
