Recently, the Supreme Court has heard the petition filed against the conducting the NEET and JEE examination. He has dismissed this petition. Apart from this, the Supreme Court has given the green signal to conduct the examination. It is being told that a bench of Justice Arun Mishra has dismissed the petition demanding the adjournment of NEET and JEE Mains. Rejecting this petition, the Supreme Court bench said, 'Should everything be stopped in the country? Why should a precious year be wasted like this? '

The petition was said to postpone the proposed JEE Mains and NEET UG examinations in September due to increasing cases of covid-19 infection. The Supreme Court has rejected it. Now there will be examinations. JEE examinations will be held from September 1 to September 6. Apart from this, it has been planned to conduct NEET exam on 13 September. It was demanded to be postponed. During this time, 11 students from 11 states had requested to postpone the examinations and filed a petition in the Supreme Court, which has now been rejected. Earlier in the first week of July, students across the country campaigned on social media with #rip nta.

During that time, the students had argued that 'at such a difficult time when the epidemic is at peak, when such examination is conducted, who will answer it if their health is affected adversely. When all examinations are either canceled or postponed, then why are JEE and NEET not being postponed. ' Let us also tell you that NTA had already made it clear that 'NEET exam will be conducted by following the rules of social distancing. Therefore, the number of examination centers is being doubled.
