Rising petrol and diesel prices have now started making the public cry. Their prices are rising almost daily this month. Indian oil marketing companies today again hiked petrol and diesel prices by 35-35 paise on Thursday, meaning that they have released the den prices of fuel. According to IOCL, petrol in the national capital Delhi remained at Rs 104.79 per litre on October 14. On the other hand, diesel costs Rs 93.52 per litre.

According to the same petroleum marketing company Indian Oil Corporation, petrol in Delhi is Rs 104.79 per litre while in Mumbai it is Rs 110.75 per litre. Diesel is at a new record high of Rs 93.52 per litre in Delhi. While diesel in Mumbai today stands at Rs 101.40 per litre on October 13 after reaching a higher level in metros. If you talk about the same thing this month, oil has become costlier on all other days except 4th, 12th and today, 13th October. Petrol prices are already above Rs 100 per litre in most parts of the country, now diesel rates have also crossed that level in many states. Diesel has crossed the Rs 100 per litre mark in Kerala, Karnataka, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar and Leh.
