Amid record petrol and diesel prices across the country, there is a slight relief over the hike in vehicle fuel prices today. According to the latest update released by Indian oil marketing companies, petrol and diesel prices have not changed today (Wednesday), just a day before Deepawali. With this, petrol prices across the country are stable. On the other hand, there is a relief for the second consecutive day over the hike in diesel prices. Petrol prices have been put on the brakes after a continuous 7-day hike. On the other hand, diesel prices have not changed for the second consecutive day. Tell us that after seven consecutive days of inflation in petrol prices of 35 paise per litre, the price has stabilized today.  According to petroleum marketing company Indian Oil Corporation, petrol has crossed Rs 110 per litre in the national capital and Rs 115 per litre in Mumbai. On the other hand, diesel in Delhi rests at Rs 98.42 per litre.
