New Delhi: Prices for petrol and diesel have increased again today. On Friday (10 January 2020), the price of petrol has increased by 15 paise per liter in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai. At the same time, the price of diesel has been increased by 11 paise in Delhi, Kolkata, while in Mumbai and Chennai, 12 paise per liter. Yesterday (9 January 2020) petrol became expensive by 8 paise and diesel by 16 paise per liter.

According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai has increased to Rs 75.96, Rs 78.54, Rs 81.55 and Rs 78.92 per liter respectively. At the same time, diesel prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai have also increased to Rs 69.05, Rs 71.42, Rs 72.41 and Rs 72.97 per liter respectively.

On Thursday, the overseas market is seen trading in WTI and Brent crude with a strength of more than half percent. WTI and Brent crude is trading at around $ 60 an ounce and $ 66 an ounce, respectively. On Wednesday, crude oil January futures fell by Rs 248 to close at Rs 4,246 on MCX.
