New Delhi: The price of diesel has dropped for the sixth consecutive day on Tuesday. That is, today customers will have to pay less for a liter of diesel than on Monday. At the same time, the price of petrol has also been registered. Due to coronavirus, crude oil prices are currently running at a minimum level of more than a year. Its direct effect is seen on the prices of petrol and diesel.

On Tuesday, the price of one liter of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai has been reduced by five paise. At the same time, the price of one liter petrol in Mumbai has decreased by 22 paise, after which its price has been reduced to Rs 71.44, 74.11, 74.23 and 77.18 respectively. Petrol price in Delhi is at the lowest level in the last six months. On the other hand, if you talk about diesel, one liter diesel has become cheaper by seven paise in Delhi and Kolkata, for 21 paise in Mumbai and one liter diesel in Chennai, today customers will have to pay eight paise less.

After this, its price has been increased to 64.03, 66.36, 67.13 and 67.57 rupees per liter respectively. Diesel price in Delhi is the lowest in eight months. Let us tell you that there is a change in the prices of petrol and diesel at six in the morning every day. The new rates become effective from 6 am. In the price of petrol and diesel, excise duty, dealer commission and other things add up to almost double its price.
