New Delhi: Today, the general public has got some relief from the ever-increasing price of petrol and diesel. Petrol and diesel prices have not been increased today by the state oil companies. Today the prices of diesel and petrol remain the same. On Tuesday, the price of petrol was increased from 34 to 35 paise, while diesel was expensive by 35 to 38 paise.

With this, petrol prices have reached above Rs 90 in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata. At the same time, in many cities petrol has become almost 100 rupees per liter. The state oil companies are continuously increasing the prices of petrol and diesel in the new year. With this, the price of oil has reached the highest level in almost all the cities of the country. Within these 55 days, one-liter petrol in Delhi has become expensive by Rs 7.22 and diesel by Rs 7.45. Petrol was priced at Rs 83.71 on the New Year in the country's capital Delhi. The price of diesel was Rs 73.87 which is today Rs 90.93 and Rs 81.32 per liter.

Petrol is being sold in Delhi today at Rs 90.93 and diesel at Rs 81.32 per liter. At the same time, petrol in Mumbai has been increased to Rs 97.34 and diesel to Rs 88.44 per liter. Petrol in Chennai is being sold at Rs 92.90 and diesel at Rs 86.31 per liter. Petrol in Bangalore costs Rs 93.98 and diesel costs Rs 86.21 per liter.
