New Delhi: Everyone is worried about the price of petrol and diesel at this time. However, the present Tamil Nadu in the southern part of the country has announced a reduction in the price of petrol, giving relief to the common man. According to the information received recently, the Tamil Nadu government has reduced the price of petrol in the state by up to Rs. 3. In fact, the state budget was presented in Tamil Nadu today. Finance Minister PTR Palanivel Thiaga Rajan presented his first paperless budget today i.e. on Friday. Let us tell you that the Tamil Nadu government has cut the price of petrol by Rs 3 per liter while cutting the state excise duty.

In such a situation, the state government has been estimated to have a loss of Rs 1,160 crores this year. You all must be aware that from May 2021 onwards, prices are getting to see a steady increase. So far, petrol and diesel prices have reached record highs in all metros. The price hike since May 3 has pushed petrol prices above Rs 100 per liter in most places in 15 states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Bihar, and Punjab.

On the other hand, according to the information received from the official website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol is Rs 101.84 and diesel is Rs 89.87 per liter in the country's capital Delhi today. On the other hand, in Mumbai today the price of one liter of petrol is Rs 107.83 and the price of diesel is Rs 97.45 per liter. Similarly, in Kolkata today petrol is being sold at Rs 102.08 and diesel at Rs 93.02 per liter. Petrol price in Chennai today is Rs 102.49 and Diesel is at Rs 94.39 per liter. At the same time, petrol in Patna costs Rs 104.25 a liter and in Jaipur petrol is Rs 108.71 a liter, while in Lucknow petrol costs Rs 98.92 and in Gurugram, petrol is  Rs 99.46 a liter.
