Police investigating mystery over death of petrol pump manager

Petrol pump manager Jaswant Singh sustained bullet injuries on the head on Milepur Chandrapura canal road in Mohanlalganj on Monday afternoon. Police have recovered a pistol and cartridge from the spot. Police are going to take action at various points of the incident. In the preliminary investigation, the police are talking about suicide. Locals have feared that they would be shot dead after the robbery.

Pistol found underbody: Where It is learned that Jaswant Singh, a resident of Mohanlalganj Mangataia village, was the manager of a petrol pump at Imiliha Kheda. His blood-soaked body was found on the canal bank of Milampur-Chandrapura village on Monday afternoon. Heavy police forces including Mohanlalganj police DCP Dakshin Ravi Kumar, DCP Purnendu Singh rushed to the spot on the information of locals. Police have initiated action. ADCP Purnendu Singh said police have recovered the manager's bike as well as a bag. A voucher from the bank has also been found in the bag. The pistol and cartridge were lying under Jaswant's body. Investigations revealed that Jaswant had a loan.

Police say suicide: Police say they also used to pay for the outstanding rupees of petrol pumps. It is feared that Jaswant shot himself and committed suicide. He was also ill and had Vigo in his hand. The family members are not making any allegations against anyone right now. Jaswant did not even have to come from the way the body was found. He always came and went by the main road. An inquiry is going to be conducted on the basis of whatever the statement family members give.
