Pfizer shakes hand with Piramal Enterprise over a deal of 4 Brands

Today on Monday 26th, Medical drugs manufacturer Pfizer has concluded the deal of sending 4 products to Mumbai based Piramal Enterprises which was previous approved.

"Post completion of requisite formalities and receipt of necessary regulatory approvals for the transaction, the company has concluded the transaction. Accordingly, the aforementioned products stand transferred to Piramal Enterprises," Pfizer said in a regulatory filing.

The deal was proposed by Ajay Piramal in May this year to acquire four brands of Pfizer over the consideration of Rs.110 Crore.

The deal talked about the brands, namely,  Ferradol, Neko, Sloan's and Waterbury's compound. The agreement also includes the trademark rights for Ferradol and Waterbury's Compound in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
