Shimla: Right now the rainy season is going on in the country, and rainfall has come in many states. Meanwhile, in many cities of Himachal, cloudbursts are raining. The weather is expected to remain bad throughout the state till 4 August. Yellow alert for the highest rainfall has also been issued on Thursday. A warning has been issued in the state till 31 July.

In the Solan city, due to the rains since Wednesday, the Kanda Dharampur contact road got suspended, due to which the traffic has come to a standstill. The administration has sought a report on the loss from all sub-divisions of the city. Due to the changes in the weather, the weather in the hilly areas has cooled down. People of the plains also got some relief from the heat. The life of the valley has been disturbed due to the highest rainfall since Wednesday night in Kullu cities. The Larji-Sainj road remained closed for 6 hours at night.

About 12 roads have been affected due to landslides and stones falling in the city. Due to the snowfall in the high hills along the Rohtang Pass, the temperature has dropped. In the Hamirpur, torrential rains continue. Traffic has been blocked due to the crack of the hill on the road from Tauani Devi to Kakkar. Three cattle died due to the fall of a cowshed in Utpur, while a house has also been damaged. Crops are also severely damaged. The residents of the same place have now been alerted.
