Hyderabad: Recently Telangana has condemned the Press Release Bureau's daily release on COVID-19 for making false allegations against the state. They said many things in a statement given last Tuesday night. During this time, the Director of Public Health, Dr G. Srinivasa Rao strongly condemned the press release of PIB. He also expressed displeasure. He alleged that the PIB resorted to blaming the game.

PIB, a nodal agency of the Central Government, took Telangana on its target in its daily bulletin on COVID for not conducting mass tests. According to the PIB, the Telangana High Court scolded the state government for not conducting a collective test for COVID-19. Also the Director of Public Health, Dr G. Srinivasa Rao was called to explain the matter. It has also come to light that Telangana has started a rapid antigen test, after much delay. In addition, it is unable to strictly follow the ICMR protocol.

ICMR has suggested that 'people who test negative in antigen test, they have to undergo RT-PCR test.' The government also said that instead of testing the pathologists again, people decided to go into isolation. Telangana is taking all necessary measures to protect its citizens from COVID-19. Telangana conducted 13,175 tests on Tuesday, which was the highest in a day.
