Yogi's ad leaves opposition laughing at Kolkata's picture, said: 'Are you changing your name?'

Lucknow: Opposition parties have lashed out at an advertisement by the Yogi government in up, the country's largest state. The photos posted in the advertisement are said to be from Kolkata in West Bengal. Trinamool Congress, Samajwadi Party, etc. TMC started a political uproar by terming the development claim of UP and BJP as hollow.

The TMC MP and Mamata Banerjee's nephew hit out at the Yogi government saying that for Yogi Adityanath to change Uttar Pradesh means stealing photos from infrastructure in Bengal led by Mamata Banerjee and using them as their own. The double engine model seems to have failed miserably in the BJP's strongest state.

The same Uttar Pradesh government has also been cornered by the Samajwadi Party. The Samajwadi Party shared the news of 'UP Tak' on Twitter and wrote, "The CM's lie has again opened up. If the advertisements do nothing to show people's money to those who shed their money like water, then misleading the people by printing photographs of the construction in Kolkata, shameful is the number one BJP government in lying. The remaining four are the days. On the other hand, Samajwadi Party affiliate Ashish Yadav attacked and tweeted, "Babaji is describing the work of Bengal as Uttar Pradesh. Seems to be going to change the name of West Bengal to Uttar Pradesh?'
