Jaipur: In Rajasthan, there has been a demand to stop salary and allowances of CM Gehlot and Pilot faction MLAs. A petition has been filed in the Rajasthan High Court regarding this. The petition said that MLAs are not going to their constituencies, so why should they be given salary for not doing legislative work. The MLA of the Gehlot faction is in Jaisalmer and the MLA of the pilot faction is staying at a resort in Manesar, Haryana.

CM, Assembly speaker, secretary, and chief secretary have been made parties in the case. The bench of Chief Justice Indrajit Mahanti and Judge Prakash Gupta will hear the case. The petition will be heard on 4 August. After the former deputy CM Sachin Pilot's rebel, the Gehlot government of Rajasthan has come under threat. Whereas CM Gehlot had earlier stopped his MLAs in a hotel in Jaipur, they were shifted to Jaisalmer on Friday.

It is being told that MLA will remain in Jaisalmer till the commencement of the assembly session. To avoid buying of MLAs, Gehlot has hidden his MLAs in the hotel. CM Ashok Gehlot had said on Thursday that horse-trading has intensified since the assembly session was announced. Gehlot says that now the value of MLAs has increased. Gehlot said that if any rebel wants to come back and he has not got the installment, then he can come. The assembly session in Rajasthan is going to start from 14 August.
