New Delhi: The deadly Coronavirus outbreak is increasing and due to this there is a crisis on public programs. A petition has been filed in the apex court on Thursday, demanding that the Indian Premier League (IPL) be cancelled now. However, the Supreme Court has refused to immediately hear the petition filed to pursue the IPL beginning March 29.

A PIL filed in the Supreme Court has appealed that 30 to 50 thousand people are present in the stadium during the IPL match. In such a situation, this tournament should be cancelled. However, the apex court has said that the court is not yet sitting to hear such cases. In such a situation, come on Monday with this petition. This case is not so urgent that it should be heard immediately.

Let us tell you that the effect of coronavirus has increased greatly in India and so far more than 60 cases have been reported. In such a situation, the biggest crisis has come on the IPL, because this tournament is going to start on March 29. The Indian government has cancelled the visa of all foreigners till April 15, which may have an impact on foreign players coming to play in the IPL. According to BCCI sources, foreign players can be banned from playing till April 15. If this happens, it will prove to be a big setback for the IPL.
