For the prevention of coronavirus, donations are coming from the country to the PM Relief Fund. Vedanta, the giant diversified natural resources company of India, has announced to give another 100 crore rupees in the fight against the coronavirus. On Thursday, the company issued a statement saying, 'Vedanta has contributed Rs 101 crore to the PM Cares Fund. To provide relief to various communities across the country, the company will provide funds up to Rs 200 crore.

Apart from this, the personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF) have given their one day salary in the PM Cares Fund. This amount is about 33.28 crores. BSF has about 2.5 employees.

Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel, Chairman of National Green Tribunal (NGT), has contributed Rs 50,000 in the PM Cares Fund. He hoped that all the members and staff of the tribunal would also go ahead and contribute. Also, the employees of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a public sector Navratna company, have given their one day salary to the PM Cares Fund. This amount is about Rs 2.71 crore. Apart from this, the company has also contributed Rs 10 crore from the Corporate Social Responsibility Fund.
