New Delhi: The next instalment of financial benefits under the Prime Minister's Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme is scheduled to be released through video conferencing tomorrow i.e. This has been informed in a release issued by the Prime Minister's Office. "This will directly transfer more than Rs 19,500 crores to more than 9.75 crore farmer families to the account," it said in a release. PM Modi will also interact with farmers and address the nation.
At the same time, let us also tell you that under the PM-Kisan Yojana, Rs.6000 per annum is given to farmer families. The money is transferred directly to the bank account in three equal instalments of Rs. 2000. So far, more than Rs 1.38 lakh crores have been sent to farmer families through this scheme. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will also be present during the work to be held tomorrow.
He is also said to be making his presence felt during this period. Earlier, on May 14, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had released the 8th instalment of financial benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana through video conferencing.
