Tourism Sector Initiatives: Nationwide projects related to the tourism sector, valued at more than Rs 1,400 crore, will be launched under schemes like "Swadesh Darshan" and "PRASHAD". This includes the integrated development project for the Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar.

Holistic Agriculture Development Programme: Under this programme, covering horticulture, agriculture, and livestock husbandry, about 2.5 lakh farmers will receive skill-development training. Additionally, around 2,000 farmers’ service centres will be established, and robust value chains will be put in place for the welfare of the farming community.

Nationwide Tourism Development Projects: Apart from the Hazratbal shrine project, various tourism projects will be launched in different circuits across India, including the Northeast Circuit in Meghalaya, Spiritual Circuit in Bihar and Rajasthan, and Rural and Tirthankar circuit in Bihar, among others.

People's Choice Tourist Destination Poll: The "Dekho Apna Desh People’s Choice 2024" initiative aims to identify popular tourist destinations across the country.

Chalo India Global Diaspora Campaign: This campaign seeks to inspire the Indian diaspora to promote tourism in India by encouraging non-Indian friends to visit the country.

Overall, PM Modi's visit holds significance not only in terms of developmental announcements but also in terms of political implications, especially amidst the discourse surrounding the abrogation of Article 370 and the demand for Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir.
