Ahmedabad: Today the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Gujarat High Court are being celebrated. Today is the 60th Foundation Day of the Gujarat High Court. On this occasion postage stamp of Gujarat HC has also been released. While addressing the function, PM Modi greeted everyone on the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee of Gujarat High Court. Over the years, the Gujarat High Court and the bar have carved a distinctive identity with their legal understanding, their scholarship, and intellectualism.

PM Modi said that the duty and devotion with which Gujarat HC has worked for truth and justice, readiness for its constitutional duties has served to strengthen both the Indian judicial system and India's democracy. The responsibility entrusted to the executive, legislature, and judiciary in our constitution is like a deathblow for our constitution. PM Modi said that our judiciary has faithfully fulfilled the responsibility of protecting the life of the Constitution.

Rule of law in Indian society has been the foundation of civilization and social fabric for centuries. It is said in our ancient texts- Nyayamoolam surajya siyat, i.e., the root of good governance lies in justice.. Trust in the judiciary has created confidence in the mind of the common citizen. It has given him the strength to stand up for the truth.
