Asia's largest solar plant has been developed in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. The special thing is that this solar plant will be inaugurated today by PM Modi. According to the information received, PM Modi is going to inaugurate it through video conferencing. It is a 750 MW solar power project installed at Rewa.

PM Modi will give his country another gift today and will hand over Asia's largest solar power project to the country. It is also informed in the media reports that in this 750 MW project costing about four thousand crores, solar power generation has also started.

In the video conferencing with PM Modi, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Governor Anandiben Patel of Madhya Pradesh as well as Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Energy, New and Renewable Energy R.K. Singh will also participate.

Earlier on 22 December 2017, CM Shivraj laid the foundation stone of this project. The benefit of this project is also being received now. Very cheap electricity is being produced under this project. World Bank loan to this project has been provided at a cheaper rate under the Clean Technology Fund without the guarantee of the state government.
