Indore: PM Modi inaugurated Asia's largest Gobar-Dhan plant to make Bio-CNG from urban wet waste present in Indore through video conferencing. On this occasion, the Prime Minister praised Indore city and its residents. He said that today as soon as the name of Indore comes to mind, cleanliness comes to mind, civic duty comes to mind. He said that as good as the people of Indore are, they have made Indore as good as they are.

The same project head Nitesh Tripathi said, "Load the organic waste into the deep bunker. Then from there the grab is lifted by crane and mixed here in the pretreatment area. Convert into a slurry. Digests the slurry into digesters, making biogas from it. The biogas is taken to the storage area, which contains 55-60 methane, then it is taken for gas cleaning and upgradation."

Let us inform you that this plant spread over 15 acres has been built at a cost of 150 crores. It is planned to run 400 buses and more than 1000 trains daily through this project. Through this plant, not only will the environment benefit but it will also generate income. This plant has been built on the PPP model, from which Indore Municipal Corporation will earn Rs 2.5 crore annually.
