Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met players who won the medal for the country in the Commonwealth Games 2018. PM Modi organized a special program to celebrate the performance of medal winners for the country Lok Kalyan Marg, Delhi.

The 21st Commonwealth Games held in Australia where India had won a total of 66 medals which includes 26 gold, 20 bronze and 20 silver medals.

All the players were also pleased with the performance in the Commonwealth Games and meeting with PM Modi they were very happy and excited.

Sania Nehwal, who gave India gold medal in badminton in the Commonwealth Games, after talking to the media, said meeting with PM Modi is wonderful and asserted “I want to thank PM Modi for his cooperation”

Sania Nehwal said that it is a matter of pride for us that the Prime Minister of the country is interesting all the medal winners. This is one of the best times for a player.

 At the same time, wrestler Babita Fogat, who won the silver medal in the Commonwealth Games in wrestling, said on the meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi feels good, “It feels good that Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks about us & talks about our sport.
