Prime Minister Narendra Modi continued his onslaught against the Congress-led Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, accusing them of undermining democracy in India.

"We patiently heard your words, but today you refuse to listen to us. However, you cannot silence my voice. The people of this nation have empowered this voice," stated PM Modi in response to the Motion of Thanks on the President's address.

Modi criticized Congress for ceding significant portions of the country's land to enemies while now lecturing on internal security. He also took aim at their stance on GST devolutions, alleging hypocrisy by those who once witnessed the rise of terrorism and naxalism in the country.

Discussing India's economic performance under previous governments, PM Modi highlighted that during the UPA-I & II reign, India only marginally improved its global economic ranking, whereas under NDA, it ascended to the fifth position. He contrasted the policy paralysis during Congress's tenure with the decisive decision-making of his government.
